- always trim your wicks
- 1/4" for cotton wicks
- 1/8" - 3/16" for wood wicks
- keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings, matches, and debris at all times.
while burning:
- keep candle on a sturdy, heat-resistant surface
- never leave a candle unattended
- never burn a candle on or near anything that might catch fire
- Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets
- never burn your candles for more than 3 - 4 hours
- wait at least two hours before relighting a snuffed candle
